I have just returned from Time Out for Women. A conference by Deseret Book. Laurie, Kim, Jen and I escaped Friday night and Saturday. We had the chance to hear musicians Kenneth Cope, Jenny Oaks Baker and Cherie Call perform. They were out of this world! There were several motivational speakers, Mary Ellen Edmunds, Pam Hansen, Ardeth Kapp, Elia Gougouris, and Wendy Ulrich focusing on Finding Joy. It was amazing to see how it impacted all of us differently and that we all took away something different.
I was so thankful to receive so much inspiration for Young Women's. I guess I am always thinking about how to improve the Fenton Family, but apparently the Lord needed me to learn for the Y.W. It was so perfect, ideas for YW in Excellence and next year's "example" theme - I can hardly wait.
They addressed topics of being an instrument in the Lord's hands, being peacemakers, strengthening relationships, seeing ourselves as Christ sees us, and understanding our roll and how the return to God with honor and so, so much more.
They are offering a Time out for Couples, any chance TJ would go with me??

Love Time Out! Two of Jeff's sisters help produce the events and they roped me into being over the volunteers for the event here in Chicago back in March. That's fun you got to go and enjoy it with friends!
Ah, I loved every minute of it... all of the inspiring talks, the amazing music, fun car rides and lunches! I'm thankful for good friends to share such positive and uplifting experiences...thank you.
LOVED TOFW too! Wasn't it great it was close to home? We had the lunch they provided and it was ughggh...wish we would have gone somewhere fun too...Laurie said you guys had a great lunch..aahh, much nicer!
